Hired on Thumbtack

I hired another contractor to do a thermostat install. Was charged a service fee and was told to get a different thermostat to fix the issue. Decided to get a second opinion. The tech from Homepro completed a a diagnostic and saw there was an issue with the transformer and wiring, which had nothing to do with the thermostat itself. The tech came in the next day to swap the transformer, fix the wiring, and install the thermostat all within 3 hours. Lesson learned: could have saved myself some time and money by going to HomePro first.
